I am inspired by the beauty of nature, watching the sunrise in the early morning, the growth of plants from seeds to harvest, and star filled nights. I had the privilege of living and working in the small coffee producing community of Los Cacaos in the mountains of the Dominican Republic. With my love of nature and my background in organic agriculture this experience inspires me daily as to the joys of working in solidarity with people who are making positive changes in the world. Looking at the world's cooperation and countries' struggles to preserve the environment. By this, I can say despite of our differences in race, development, and war, we still have something binding us together and that is preserving our environment which is actually the major source of our lives.
